This morning was just like any other morning. Zakery ate a small breakfast and as soon as his little feet hit the ground he was out the doggy door. As soon as his little eyes pierced outside he saw the horses with amazement!! And up walked Jim Bob and Chance. These two guys are sooo amazing with Zakery. They just took him and off they went to see the horses. Zakery was scared of the horses when he was by there face, but as soon as Jim Bob got on the horse Zakery was fast to raise his hands to Jim Bob and off they went. Zakery kept on saying "Horsy Horse" it was so sweet and funny. And also he would clap and say "yeah" and give the biggest laugh with his mouth open. He loved it!! Thank you Jim Bob and Chance for being so sweet to my big boy. Not soon after that Zakery became very fussy and mom (myself) decided that today Zakery would take an early nap. Zakery slept and I did some statistics homework....fun....not. When he woke up Grandpa came over. I love my Daddy!!! Today's visit from my dad was fun like usual but ended sad. He played with Zakery and we talked like usual. Watching Zakery and Dad together melts my heart. They interact so well. The sad part is that my dad took a job where he will be gone 3 weeks and home 1 week. He used to be gone like this in the past, but not for some time now so I am not used to it no more. I know my dad is excited about this opportunity but I will still worry about him. I love my daddy and he is one of the most precious person in my life. It is only natural for me to be sad and worry about him, but I know he is a strong man and will be just fine. An up side to things my step brother Scott is home. I pray that he can remain strong and stay home. I know a special Little Woman (my step mom) that is very happy to have her baby home. I want her to have whatever makes her happy and I know having her son in her life is one big happy thing!!!

Michael was at the Fire House today. They had a busy day today. The wind was blowing all day and with everything being so dry there were alot of fires today (grass and house). Thank god they saved things and are okay!!

Today was a fun day!!! Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then we headed to West, TX for the West Fest Parade with the Harrington Family. Zakery enjoyed the parade so much that he did not even get out of his lawn chair. He sat in his chair the whole parade just watching until the last 2 minutes of the parade!! One float threw ices, which I have never seen done before, but Zakery loved it!! After the parade we traveled to the Harrington's (Sam, Christi, Heidi, and Holly) House to have fun cousin time. Those girls are so beautiful and are growing so fast. Zakery and Holly enjoyed pushing the baby stroller and shopping cart, while Heidi watched some cartoons. On the way home we went to the Pizza House in West for the first time. Needless to stay we have been missing out. Their food (skunk egg and cheeseburger pizza) was great. We came home and Zakery was out for three and a half hours, guess he was warn out. When Zakery finally woke up at 6pm we concluded the day with some daily necessity things (grocery shopping and cleaning up around the house). I love the simple things in life ( a day with the family). My sister and her daughter, Savanna, painted their nails today. While at Wal-Mart I purchased the same color nail polish they used and painted mine the same. Doing that makes me feel as though the distance between us is not that far. In Wal-Mart Zakery rode the electrical horse while Daddy got us checked out and he absolutely loved it. Missing our friends the Harrison's...we have not seen them sense we came back from vacation.

Today woke up to a sweet  kiss from my Guy (off to the Fire House) and to my baby boy talking on the baby monitor to his teddy bear!!! We had a fun filled day: went swimming with Mrs. Holland Humble followed by some yummy lunch, then we (Zakery and I) enjoyed a three hour much needed nap with a afternoon of playing.
